DEMOCRATIC CENTRAL COMMITTEE

Sarah McDermott is a public servant, Air Force veteran, mother, and Odenton

resident working for Democratic values through grassroots leadership. She

is currently the County Democratic Central Committee Chair and serves on

the county’s Board of Education, where she works to support students and

families. She has built her career with the State of Maryland in regulation

and occupational licensing, focusing on fairness and customer service.

A former local science teacher and federal employee, Paul and his

family have lived in Anne Arundel County most of his life. Now retired,

he’s served as an election judge in recent years, helping make sure our

elections are free and fair. With our democracy facing its greatest test

in our lifetimes, he’s running for the Democratic Central Committee to

engage local Democrats and win the critical 2026 and 2028 elections.
